In Short: UrukType Keyboard does not collect or sell any personal data. All your data stays completely on your device, except when using the optional Translation feature, which securely transmits only the text you explicitly type for translation to translation servers to generate real-time results.

Welcome to UrukType Keyboard. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains how our application handles your information when you use our keyboard.

We do not collect any personal data.

UrukType Keyboard is designed with a "Privacy First" principle. The application does NOT:

Collect, store, or transmit what you type in standard mode

Send any data to external servers (except the specific text you choose to translate in the optional Translation feature)

3. Locally Stored Data

The application stores the following data locally on your device only:

Word Prediction Data: Words and phrases you frequently use to improve suggestion accuracy
Language Preferences: Languages you have enabled (Arabic, English, French)
App Settings: Such as long-press duration for keys and last selected translation languages

This data:

Remains on your device only and never leaves it
Cannot be accessed by us or any third party
Can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the application

4. Required Permissions

The application requests the following permissions to function properly:

Keyboard Service: To allow the application to work as a keyboard on your device
Internet Access (ohos.permission.INTERNET): Required solely to fetch real-time translations for the optional Translation feature when enabled

We do not request any unnecessary permissions such as access to contacts, files, location, or camera.

5. Adaptive Learning Algorithms

The keyboard uses adaptive learning algorithms to improve word prediction accuracy based on your typing habits. All learning processes occur locally on your device without any internet connection or external servers.

6. Third-Party Services

To provide the optional Translation feature, UrukType Keyboard securely communicates with the Google Translate API. When you choose to use this feature:

Only the specific text you type for translation is securely transmitted.
No personal identifiers, background logs, or device-identifying information is sent with the text.
The data is processed solely to generate the translation and is not stored or analyzed for other purposes.

The application does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. There are no other external libraries that collect user data.

7. Data Security

Since the application does not collect or transmit any data (other than requested translations), your information is completely secure. All locally stored data is protected by your device's security system.

8. Children's Privacy

The application is safe for use by all ages including children, as it does not collect or track any personal information from any user.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
